Meet Hopper Croakston

Meet Hopper Croakston: The Wise Warden of the Pond in the Duckieverse, nestled between cattails and rippling lily pads, lives a green frog with a big heart and even bigger hops—Hopper Croakston.

Unlike his more flamboyant rubber duck neighbors, Hopper is 100% frog and 100% dedicated to keeping the pond peaceful and pristine. A natural-born bug-catcher, Hopper serves as the pond’s unofficial pest patrol, making sure that mosquitoes, gnats, and all manner of buzz-happy nuisances stay far away from his duckie friends. With a swift leap and a well-timed snap, he keeps the insect population under control—no pesticides required!

But Hopper is more than just a bug-muncher. He’s also a sage voice among the reeds. With his slow blink and deep, thoughtful croak, Hopper offers advice to young ducklings, guidance to flustered flamingos, and the occasional riddle to passing party unicorns (we’re looking at you, Specktra). The pond may be his home, but wisdom is his calling.

When he’s not on patrol or mid-thought, you can find him sunning himself on his favorite lily pad, sipping minty pond water, or humming ancient frog tunes known only to the oldest bullfrogs.

So if you ever visit the Duckieverse and hear a calm, “Even the smallest ripple can change the pond,” you’ve just met Hopper Croakston—protector of the pond, philosopher of the wetlands, and friend to all who waddle, hop, or float. Learn more about the ripple effect.

My wife got me these from the Dollar Tree. It came with three. I kept one, going to give the other two away even though they are not part rubber ducks.
