About The Floor

“The Floor” is a fast-paced trivia game show on Fox hosted by Rob Lowe, where contestants stand on a massive LED grid, each representing a different trivia category. The core gameplay involves head-to-head trivia duels between neighboring contestants. A randomly selected player challenges an adjacent opponent in the latter’s category of expertise. The first to run out of their 45-second clock loses and is eliminated, with the winner claiming the loser’s territory.

The goal is to strategically challenge opponents and win duels to control more squares on “The Floor.” Contestants must balance their trivia knowledge with tactical decisions on who to challenge and when to continue playing. Winning multiple consecutive duels can earn a “Time Boost” in later rounds. The contestant who ultimately dominates the entire floor at the end of the season wins a substantial grand prize.
